I’m impressed that this photographer had the courage/ idea to look at the poverty and pollution going on in China and really focus on them for his career. There aren’t very many good photos that capture and convey the detail and deepness that China is in with poverty and pollution. I also like that he decided to take photos in areas that are heavy industrial or even in the countryside so that he conveys the wide spread effect that pollution is affecting China.
The photos really expose what is going on in China and not just the good things the country is doing. Also, he focuses on the pollution that China is pumping out so that you get lots of pollution pictures all over China not just in the heavy industrial areas. Plus he got photos of the people who live in these polluted areas and the effect that the pollution has on them.
